Meta Platform Data

When you connect your Facebook or Instagram accounts through Promulgate, we may collect data provided via Meta’s APIs, including:

  • Page ID and access tokens
  • Page name and profile information
  • Campaign and post-level insights
  • Lead form and engagement metrics

This data is processed only to enable post scheduling, analytics, and authorized account management. We do not sell or transfer Meta data to any third party except to provide essential Promulgate services as outlined in this policy.

Usage Data

Usage Data is collected automatically when using the Service (e.g., browser type, IP address, session duration, etc.).

Usage Data may include information such as Your Device’s Internet Protocol address (e.g. IP address), browser type, browser version, the pages of our Service that You visit, the time and date of Your visit, the time spent on those pages, unique device identifiers and other diagnostic data.

When You access the Service by or through a mobile device, We may collect certain information automatically, including, but not limited to, the type of mobile device You use, Your mobile device unique ID, the IP address of Your mobile device, Your mobile operating system, the type of mobile Internet browser You use, unique device identifiers and other diagnostic data.

We may also collect information that Your browser sends whenever You visit our Service or when You access the Service by or through a mobile device.

Promulgate collects the following types of data

  • Personal: Contact and profile information including your name, email address, organization name, and address which we capture at the time of setup.
  • Usage:Social login tokens, such as Facebook Login, to create or access your accounts
  • Personal:: Social profile information for Social Networks you choose to connect to the Services. Somethings like ProfileID and profile image
  • Usage:Post details like message , images /videos urls of your DAM , post schedules etc.
  • Usage:Posts Views, Wows, likes, dislikes etc for the posts you had done from Promulgate .
  • Usage:Social Media account level details like total subscribers, pages associated to the account etc.

Purpose of Processing

We collect and process your data for the following purposes:

  • To enable campaign scheduling, post management, and analytics across Meta and other platforms.
  • To measure campaign effectiveness and engagement.
  • To maintain your account and provide customer support.
  • To comply with applicable laws and protect user data integrity.

Tracking Technologies and Cookies

We use Cookies and similar tracking technologies to track the activity on Our Service and store certain information. Tracking technologies used are beacons, tags, and scripts to collect and track information and to improve and analyze Our Service. The technologies We use may include:

Integration with Meta Platforms

Promulgate uses Meta APIs and Business Tools (including Facebook Login, Pages API, and Marketing API) to help clients manage and measure digital-marketing performance.

  • Data we receive:
    User ID, Page access tokens, profile name, and related marketing metrics.
  • Purpose:
    To enable authorized users to manage social pages, schedule posts, retrieve analytics, and measure campaign performance.
  • Retention & Deletion:
    Meta-connected data is retained only while your account remains active or until you revoke permissions. Upon revocation or written request, all related data is deleted within 7 business days.
  • Request deletion:
    Users may request deletion at admin@promulgate.in .

Promulgate does not sell or share Meta data with any third party other than authorized service providers necessary to operate the platform.

 Promulgate as a Tech Provider

Promulgate acts as a Technology Provider (“Tech Provider”) for enterprise clients such as OEMs, dealerships, and agencies.
All Meta-sourced data is processed solely on behalf of the client and segregated per organization.
Promulgate maintains client-specific data boundaries and access controls to ensure compliance with Meta’s Platform Terms and privacy laws.

Use of Your Personal Data

The Company may use Personal Data for the following purposes:

  • To provide and maintain our Service, including to monitor the usage of our Service.
  • To manage Your Account: to manage Your registration as a user of the Service. The Personal Data You provide can give You access to different functionalities of the Service that are available to You as a registered user.
  • For the performance of a contract: the development, compliance and undertaking of the purchase contract for the products, items or services You have purchased or of any other contract with Us through the Service.
  • To contact You: To contact You by email, telephone calls, SMS, or other equivalent forms of electronic communication, such as a mobile application’s push notifications regarding updates or informative communications related to the functionalities, products or contracted services, including the security updates, when necessary or reasonable for their implementation.
  • To provide You with news, special offers and general information about other goods, services and events which we offer that are similar to those that you have already purchased or enquired about unless You have opted not to receive such information.
  • To manage Your requests: To attend and manage Your requests to Us.

Promulgate uses Data collected in the following areas to serve you

  • Profile information to manage the logins and access rights
  • Social Login Tokens to do the posts onto the respective social networks
  • To manage the social accounts and display the login info in the promulgate app
  • To do the posts onto the social networks like Facebook , YouTube based on the schedules
  • To show the performance/ penetration of the post(s) ( done by the user ) with proper analytics on Reach and engagement
  • To show the performance of the account in terms of number of Subscibers , Total Views etc

We may share Your personal information in the following situations:

  • With Service Providers: We may share Your personal information with Service Providers to monitor and analyze the use of our Service, to contact You.
  • For business transfers: We may share or transfer Your personal information in connection with, or during negotiations of, any merger, sale of Company assets, financing, or acquisition of all or a portion of Our business to another company.
  • With Affiliates: We may share Your information with Our affiliates, in which case we will require those affiliates to honor this Privacy Policy. Affiliates include Our parent company and any other subsidiaries, joint venture partners or other companies that We control or that are under common control with Us.

Data Retention and Deletion Requests

Delete Complete Personal Data: To delete complete personal data, you can login to your account, visit Organization page and click on top right delete icon, you will be prompted for confirmation, once you confirm your entire data will be deleted from the system and you will no longer be able to get that back.

Delete Complete Data Via Mail: Please reach out to our team at admin@promulgate in to place this request.

Data Security

Promulgate maintains administrative, physical, and technical safeguards that meet or exceed industry standards to prevent unauthorized access, loss, or misuse of data, including Meta Platform Data.
Our systems are hosted on secure servers with restricted access, encryption in transit and at rest, and role-based access controls.

Retention of Your Personal Data

The Company will retain Your Personal Data only for as long as is necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy. We will retain and use Your Personal Data to the extent necessary to comply with our legal obligations (for example, if we are required to retain your data to comply with applicable laws), resolve disputes, and enforce our legal agreements and policies.

The Company will also retain Usage Data for internal analysis purposes. Usage Data is generally retained for a shorter period of time, except when this data is used to strengthen the security or to improve the functionality of Our Service, or We are legally obligated to retain this data for longer time periods.

Retention policy of promulgate for the data collected

  • When the user account is disabled by user the associated data is not accessible to anyone and will be retained for 6 months of time
  • At any point of time the user can access the connections page and remove his connection to specific social media account. In that case the data associated with that particular Social media account is disabled and there will be no further pulling of analytics for that specific SM account. Also the token associated with that SM account will be deleted from the promulgate database.
  • At any point of time the user can access the connections page and disable his connection to specific social media account. Also the token associated with that SM account will be disabled and retained with the promulgate database such that the user can enable the account.

Transfer of Your Personal Data

Your information, including Personal Data, is processed at the Company’s operating offices and in any other places where the parties involved in the processing are located. It means that this information may be transferred to — and maintained on — computers located outside of Your state, province, country or other governmental jurisdiction where the data protection laws may differ than those from Your jurisdiction.

Your consent to this Privacy Policy followed by Your submission of such information represents Your agreement to that transfer.

The Company will take all steps reasonably necessary to ensure that Your data is treated securely and in accordance with this Privacy Policy and no transfer of Your Personal Data will take place to an organization or a country unless there are adequate controls in place including the security of Your data and other personal information.
